HOW IT WORKS
If you have DR1, when someone
calls the Distinctive Ring number, the phone will ring twice in two seconds
instead of the usual once. If you have DR2 and someone calls the DR2
number, the phone will ring three times instead of once. These numbers are
separate telephone numbers that ring to your existing phone line. You can
give them out to specific parties, and you will know who is calling by the ring
tone. The caller hears normal ringing.
